Perry Beeches kicked off. The game started as Arthur Terry almost immediately took the lead with some brilliant work down the flank. As the game progressed, Arthur Terry broke the deadlock. It was supposed to be a cross but the ball crept in at the back post as Owen had no chance. Apart from the slip up of the goal, PB played very well for most of the game and created a goal threatening opportunity. The ball was lobbed up in the air and found Odenie as he could only place it towards the keeper. But finally, PB was rewarded with a goal. It came from the left flank where Morgan and Tyreece linked up with some beautiful passes and skill as the ball bobbled to the feet of Rio who tucked it in the bottom corner. The score was level for the rest of the half but Arthur Terry had a goal-scoring opportunity saved on the line thanks to the awareness of Tyreece. Half time arrived, as the score was level.

The second-half started as Arthur Terry kicked off. They started exactly the same way as they did in the first half. They were always dangerous on the left wing. But once again, Arthur Terry took the lead again after a magnificent shot from outside the box, which sailed out of the reach of Ashley into the right top corner. It took a while for PB to get back to their momentum but the patience eventually paid off with a splendid equaliser. The attack started on the left where a connection between a re-appearing Ricardo and Tyreece and it took some skill for Ricardo to wiggle through but it was to be finished by some unbelievable skill by Morgan as he placed it down in the bottom corner. 2-2 with 15 minutes left. The game could have gone either way but with 3 minutes left from time, PB conceded again. A free kick conceded by Tyreece turned out to be a great cross as they headed against the post. PB failed to clear it. The shot finally took place but it was only to be diverted in the net by Lewis Price. That was the decisive goal of the match as the later efforts PB were no uses as Arthur Terry hung on to win a thrilling encounter.
The Final Score was Arthur Terry 3-2 Perry Beeches Trust Y8 as PB, just like last year, PB were knocked out of the first round of the national cup
