Perry Beeches students were invited for lunch during the Easter holiday with the residents at Homelands. There was an Easter bonnet parade and entertainment for the residents to enjoy the day. The students enjoyed the lunch and had great pleasure in chatting and socialising with the elderly people. There is a great bond between the staff, students and residents at Homelands. The intergenerational project is very positive and has opened the student’s minds to the joint opportunities available. We look forward to other events. Most of which involve eating!
