Calshot School Visit

On Tuesday 22nd of October 2013, Year 5 from Calshot Primary school visited PB to get a taste of what it’s like to be at our ‘outstanding’ school. They took part in two new and exciting lessons in which they learned a song in Zulu in Music and completed a problem solving task in Maths. This was an excellent opportunity for these students, as very soon they could be the new Year 7 of Perry Beeches The Academy. With the help of two amazing teachers, Mr Jenkins and Mr Lee, they had an extremely enjoyable, yet educational time. In addition, with the help of four of our Year 8 students, they were able to ask any questions they had about our school. Finally, the students who impressed both the Year 8 and the teachers won a Perry Beeches award pen, so prestigious not even Mr Lee has one! Overall, this was a fantastic morning and beneficial for all. We look forward to working with Calshot School again in November for the Year 5 Gifted and Talented morning. By James Smith 8RLE
