Perry Beeches The Academy opened its doors to the community on Friday when it hosted its fifth annual Christmas market. Santa arrived on his trike and his elves arrived on their bikes to welcome children and their families into the school to share a festive evening together. Reverend Martin Harris who had a stall said’ he could feel the energy in the room and the buzz of all the community being together in one place- it is great to see everyone enjoying themselves’

The school atrium and dining hall was filled with festive cheer, students and staff singing in the choir and homemade mince pies for everyone to try. Stuart Turnbull head teacher said ‘it was great to see so many families visiting the school, community organisations plus so many ex-students who came back to share another memorable evening with us’
