DT challenge

Jordan Stanley entered a DT challenge and was one of over a thousand entries to enter the national competition.  There were 4 categories to enter and Jordan’s entry was on transport.  He had to design a bike for two, made from recycled aluminium and submitted 4 pages of design work to express his ideas.  Jordan received a highly commended award for his design and was invited to an awards ceremony at the ThinkTank Museum in Birmingham on 26th February 2013.  Jordan was one of 6 winners to be awarded and had to stand in front of professors and businessmen, from Land Rover Jaguar, to talk about his ideas.  Following this presentation award, winners were invited to the House of Lords for lunch, to celebrate their success and afterwards were approached to help film a promotional video for next year’s competition.
