Gifted and Talented

12 students from our Year 9 Gifted and Talented Cohort visited The University of Warwick as part of “The Brilliant Club” programme earlier this month. This programme involves a PhD researcher from Warwick University being placed in school over a number of weeks to deliver a programme of university – style tutorials to small groups of students, focusing on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) streams. Students were shown around the university campus by a current undergraduate student and were given the opportunity to ask lots of questions. Our students thoroughly enjoyed this experience and are really excited about working alongside a PhD researcher over the following weeks.
