One of the charities that we support here at Perry Beeches is MacMillan. Each year we hold a Coffee Morning to support Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event. To make it more interesting, staff are invited to enter the ‘Perry Beeches Bake Off’, where members of staff bake cakes and are judged by the rest of the staff on taste and presentation. It is unbelievable how competitive this competition gets, as everyone believes theirs is the best cake. On Friday 27th September we raised over £400, which included the cake competition, a raffle, guess the weight of the cake and guess how many sweets in the jar.  Congratulations to Samantha Dowe, D&T Technician, who won the ‘Bake Off’ with her delicious Nani Cake.
