Eco Bag – Anisha Bhopa

Anisha Bhopal from Year 9 at Perry Beeches Academy has won a challenge set by One Stop Shopping Centre to create a design for a new reusable bag to be given to shoppers in 2013.

Mark Burbridge, Centre Manager, said “As a shopping centre we’ve been working hard on reducing our impact on the environment and the launch of a reusable bag for our customers seemed a natural next step. We were delighted to be able to involve children from the community in the initiative and although there were lots of fantastic designs, Anisha’s stood out in terms of strongly getting across the important message of the need for us all to care for the environment”.
