On Tuesday 24th September, we had a string quintet known as ‘The Leos from the CBSO. They were made up of 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello and 1 double bass.  They played a variety of music from past to present, including a well-known favourite ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.  The Year 9 GCSE Music group made up the audience and really enjoyed this concert.  They had a chance to ask questions about the music, the musicians, the CBSO and the different instruments.  Our students were outstanding and really contributed to an excellent concert.  The Leos were so impressed with our students that they have requested another concert, where all of our KS3 students will have an opportunity to see them perform.

Stay tuned for more performances in PERFORMING ARTS………
