Thicker than Water
Once again, the Performing Arts Department took on the task of school production and this year certainly did not disappoint. ‘Thicker than Water’ was technically the hardest production undertaken to date and explored adult themes relating to class and depression, while still intertwining moments of sheer hilarity, alongside whole chorus numbers. Besides the cast producing a performance commented to be of a ‘professional’ standard, this year’s production also included the largest accompanying orchestra to date. With four performances in total, the cast and musicians consistently performed to packed- out audiences, as well as a primary school matinee. We would like to take this opportunity to thank cast, musicians, technical, sound and lighting for their marvellous effort. ‘Thicker than Water’ acted as a testament to what can be achieved here at PBTA through the combined efforts of staff and students.
